The Story Behind the Brand

When I was twelve years old, I joined my junior high school’s disc golf club. Never mind that it was just me, my guidance counselor, and the janitor. I was simply excited to watch the discs fly. A year later, I played in my first tournament and won $100 in script (because I was the only junior in my division). From that moment on, I was hooked on plastic.

In college, when I wasn’t competing in collegiate events, I was studying graphic design. It didn’t take long for my love of disc golf to collide with my interest in graphic arts, and I started sketching my own disc golf inspired designs. After years in the community, I wanted apparel that actually represented the lifestyle. I wanted something rooted in Pacific Northwest disc golf and inspired by the courses I grew up playing. Stock clip art and oversized logos just weren’t cutting it anymore.

In 2021, I decided to pursue the idea more seriously. Disc golf was exploding, and the Pacific Northwest scene was evolving with it. The Disc Golf Pro Tour was bringing high level professional play to the West Coast, and I saw an opportunity to introduce a new style of graphic driven disc golf apparel to the sport’s biggest stage. That summer, I packed my best designs into my mom’s Ford Flex and drove thirteen hours to Stockton, California for my first-year vending at the DGPT OTB Open. Over those three days, I witnessed everything the sport was becoming, and I sold about five shirts. But I left feeling exhilarated and inspired. Disc golf was growing fast, and it needed apparel that reflected that lifestyle. Since that first event, I’ve continued to set up a booth at every DGPT West Coast Swing stop each year.

Every piece is still designed by me and inspired by moments I’ve experienced out on the course. My goal is to create apparel you can wear to your morning doubles league, your local C tier, and even to the grocery store on your way home from a round. The disc golf lifestyle doesn’t just exist on the course. It is woven into every moment of your day. That is what the daily grind is all about.
